This app was created using the latest version of Xcode. The user interface was developed using SwiftUI and all bedtime stories are AI-generated, stored in Firebase. The AI Creator feature, powered by Replicate API, allows users to generate personalized bedtime stories with custom lengths and characters. Each story comes with a beautifully AI-generated cover image. With PlayHT API, transform text into audio using 15 celebrity voices, including Morgan Freeman and SpongeBob, or clone unique voices via PlayHT platform. This all-in-one package offers story creation, image generation, and text-to-speech capabilities, making it the perfect foundation for your next app idea or use AI Night Whisper as-is.

*** WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED ***
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 15+. This app requires iOS 16+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones without iPad support. An AdMob account is necessary if you want to show ads in the app. We provide you with some basic PDF documentation on how to replace the AdMob Interstitial Ad identifiers, and how to replace the in-app purchase product identifier. You will need a Firebase account, where you will have to upload your own AI-generated bedtime stories, Play.HT and Replicate.com accounts.

*** HOW DOES IT WORK ***

- The app features four main tabs. The first tab displays bedtime story categories sourced from Firebase.

- The second tab houses the AI Creator feature, where users can craft a bedtime story by writing a short description and selecting characters such as a bear, fox, or rabbit. By tapping the "Generate a magic story" button, users invoke the Replicate APIs to create the story. While the story length can be configured in tokens via AppConfig, we recommend keeping it under 2,000 characters, as PlayHT API's text-to-speech capability is limited to this size.

- Users have the option to read the story or tap the play button to convert the text to audio using the PlayHT API. This API typically returns audio in 1-2 minutes, though times may vary. While we cannot control the conversion speed, once generated, the audio is downloaded and cached on the device for instant playback without re-invoking the PlayHT API.

- Generating a story with the AI Creator deducts a credit from the user's account. Credits can be purchased through in-app purchases, and all users share a single API key for Replicate and PlayHT. This approach can yield substantial revenue, as Replicate API usage is cost-effective. For pricing details, visit the Replicate API and PlayHT websites.

- The app also includes a favorites tab. Since stories generated through the AI Creator are not saved if the user exits the flow, the favorites feature is essential for saving and easily accessing beloved stories.

- In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other games/apps you want to add in-app purchases.
