The app is built in SwiftUI and compatible with Xcode 15+. The app lets you record or type notes, auto-transcribes audio to text, and includes AI rewrite tools (summarize, proofread, change tone, shorten, plan, list). Notes are saved on device and no sign up is required.
*** WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED ***
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 15+. This app requires iOS 16+. All templates on this website are for iPhones without iPad support. An AdMob account is necessary if you want to show ads in the app. We provide basic PDF documentation on how to replace the AdMob Interstitial Ad identifiers and the in-app purchase product identifiers. You will need an OpenAI account, since the app uses ChatGPT for the AI rewriting tools.
*** HOW DOES IT WORK ***
- The user starts on the Dashboard and taps “+” to create a note, choosing either Voice or Text.
- In Voice mode, the user taps the mic to record and taps again to stop. The app saves an .m4a file and auto-transcribes the audio to editable text.
- In Text mode, the user types directly into the editor to compose a note without recording.
- When saving, the user provides a title; the app persists text to UserDefaults and stores any audio in the Documents directory.
- The app supports AI Rewrite Tools like clean up, proofread, summarize, change tone, shorten, plan, or list.
- Copy and delete actions are available at any time. Deleting a note also removes its associated audio file.
- Free users have limited voice recordings and a subset of rewrite tools.
- Premium users unlock unlimited note taking, all AI rewriting tools, and remove ads, via a one-time in-app purchase.
- In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other games/apps you want to add in-app purchases.
